Slurry pump sealing part composition
There are two sealing devices, the impeller seal ring, and there should be a gap between the impeller and the pump casing.
If the gap is too large, part of the liquid thrown out by the impeller will return to the inlet of the impeller from the gap, resulting in a decrease in pump efficiency.


If the gap is too large Small will wear the pump casing and impeller. The installation of the sealing ring plays a role in bearing wear and preventing leakage.


The shaft end seal: where the pump shaft protrudes from the pump body, there is a shaft seal mechanism between the rotating pump shaft and the fixed pump body.


We call it the shaft end seal. Its function is to prevent liquid leakage when the pressure in the pump is high. When the internal pressure is low, air enters the pump, and the mechanical seal is achieved through the close friction of the two end faces of the dynamic and static seal rings.


It reflects the characteristics of the mechanical seal, so the mechanical seal is also called the end face seal.
