Several Basic Situations and Calculation of Slurry Pump Selection
Ⅰ Basic parameters: basic working conditions, flow rate, head
1 First determine whether to use our pump through the working conditions. The working conditions mentioned here are understood as application industries such as ore dressing, coal dressing, sand pumping, etc. (This step is very important, and it is also a prerequisite for model selection)
2 Flow rate and head are the two basic parameters for pump selection:
a: Preliminarily determine the general situation of the pump through the working conditions, such as which series model or whether to consider the material, etc.
b: After determining the series model of the pump, read the performance curve through the flow rate and head to determine the specific model and size of the pump.
c: Read the curve and calculate the power: calculate the shaft power of the pump_ Known parameters include flow, head, efficiency, and slurry specific gravity; efficiency (η) is determined by flow and head, and can be read by reading the performance curve; slurry specific gravity customers What cannot be provided can only be obtained through experience. Generally (between 1-2), the technical calculation will give an estimated value to calculate the power.
d: Calculate the shaft power P=mgh/η and its derived formula: P=ρQH/102η (pay attention to the use of safety factor in actual calculation)
e: motor power, the motor power that is closest to the passing shaft power and greater than the shaft power is the final motor power.
Ⅱ More parameters: working condition flow rate head slurry specific gravity solid specific gravity concentration Ph value temperature
According to the basic process of I, except that the slurry specific gravity parameter in step C directly uses the value provided by the customer, or calculates the slurry specific gravity through the solid specific gravity and concentration.
Weight concentration generally mainly considers the degree of abrasiveness of the slurry. For a certain type of slurry, the higher the concentration, the higher the abrasiveness will be, and the specific gravity of the slurry will also be higher.
Therefore, we also have the concept of dividing heavy, neutral and light slurry pumps, based on the concept of roughly changing the content of slurry, and there is no strict limit.
Ph value is one of the material factors that we judge to select the flow parts of the pump (generally, the ph value of 5-12 is to consider the range of metal flow parts, and rubber or other special materials are considered for the rest of the range. This is also the theoretical number range that cannot be dead. sets, to be applied flexibly);
Temperature is also one of the factors to determine whether the material can be used. Generally, temperature is a factor that is rarely considered in most cases, but sometimes there are special working conditions that require temperature.
Ⅲ Detailed parameters: working condition flow rate head slurry specific gravity solid specific gravity concentration Ph value temperature D50, D80, pipeline (pipe, elbow, valve, gradual (shrink, expand), viscosity, etc.
It is still in accordance with the basic process of Ⅰ, but in this kind of detailed parameters, generally it is the bidding project, or the client is very _, so that so many detailed parameters can be provided.
In general, the parameters that can be provided to II are considered detailed. For some large projects, special design units or departments will provide customers with detailed data for large bids, so it is possible to provide a level of detail such as III.
